The nation of Kamien was founded on the principle that nature is a suggestion that can be improved upon. Ever since the foundation of this nation in 1748, the Kamiens have enhanced life and created new opportunities that lead to the cure for dying: Kamien Cryogenic Technology, also known as KCT. Since the implementation of the cure in 1982, less than 0.1% of the Kamien population died of natural causes. This discovery led to relative peace, a focus on the acquisition of knowledge and a population that is ever increasing.
Today, the Kamien confederation consists of four interdependent regions, all working together to strive for a better future and retain the Kamien quality of life.

We as a species are known as constant innovators: we evolved, adapted and conquered. Kamien goes the extra mile: where others see death as an inevitable demise, we see it simply as another hurdle to overcome.

It seems almost like a paradox, but innovation eventually leads to a state of ultimate stability. This stability is what we as a people aim for: the point in time where it is no longer necessary to adapt in order to survive.
"Knowledge is power."
Kamien is the leading society when it comes to technological advancement. We need knowledge to nourish and sustain our people and our way of life. We continually seek out opportunities to learn more about ourselves and the environment we live in.
