Regions

Kamien consists of four interdependent regions: Kamen, Guri, Pietra and the islands of Puu.

Kamen

Kamen is the northern region of Kamien. The capital, Carreg, as well as the seat of the Eternal and the Council, are situated in this region. This region is known for its big cities and most of the Kamien population lives here. Thanks to free and efficient public transport, the residents of the city can very easily travel to the other regions for work or leisure. The Kamen cities have the biggest research centres of Kamien.

Fun fact: KCT was discovered in Research Facility #153b!

Guri

If Kamen is the beating heart of Kamien, then Guri is its stomach: the Guri region consists of 88% agricultural facilities. Every facility is manned by a group of scientists, always looking for ways to improve our crops!

Fun fact: Kamien has been able to raise food production efficiency by 85% in the last five years!

Pietra

Pietra is the coastal region of Kamien. It is a less densely populated region and known as the lungs of Kamien because of the Pietran forests. Its most important city is Kivi, with its beautiful view of the sea and the monument for Laullu Duun. Pietra is the favourite holiday spot for most of the Kamiens and this is well deserved: sightseeing, art, music and the beautiful jellyfish farms.

The Islands Of Puu

Traditionally, the Islands of Puu called "the eyes of Kamien" because of two reasons: because it is arguably the most beautiful region of Kamien and secondly because of the colonial history. To be able to study the jellyfish colonies in 1817, we built research stations on the southern islands. These islands were inhabited by the Puuer, a tribal community. Because of our actions, the Puuer almost got eradicated. We as Kamiens choose not to close our eyes for the consequences of our actions. Today, the Islands of Puu are inhabited by the descendants of the Puuer. Tourists can go on guided tours to learn more about their culture and our history.
